Check this attached picture of my legs. I have crooked legs and sometimes I walk with open legs and it looks funny.
I have been training for the last 2.5 years and growing everywhere except quads...strenth and size wise. I am stuck at 225 lbs on squats (to the ground).
When I load up the barbell to 225 it seems like my knees are taking all the pressure and sometimes they even tremble. Just picture a 6'3" guy with criss cross legs under a heavy barbell. the weight is just not aligned with my quads, knees and shins.
Anyone here has any experience with this? Any way to corect it? I though I will ask it here before I discuss this with a chiropractor.
Surgery is usually not performed on "knock-knees" unless it is a severe case. Yours doesn't look too bad. I have bowed legs, so I know where you're coming from - just from the opposite direction.
If your knees are hurting you, you should use knee wraps when using squats. This will help stability and hopefully reduce trembling. However, the fact that your legs won't grow probably has nothing to do with your knees. It's probably just a genetic sticking point for you. Try changing up your workout.
thatguy: that was a great link. I am going to try that forum also. yeah , my case is not really bad but I hae it more from the aesthetics point of view. You think I should develop inner thighs to create an optical illusion of normal knees.
