    hamstrings???

    hi i have been having a debate with a mate of mine who insists hamstrings are not muscle whereas i think they are, anyone who can help me out on this is it muscle or ?????

    heres a pic i found that suggests to me its muscle

    well my m8 is still saying its not he says that im syaing his docter is wrong LOL, he also went on about ligaments

    There is absolutely no two ways about it, your hamstrings are muscles. His doctor wouldnt have said that the hamstring isnt a muscle, your "m8" wasnt listening.

    My experiance with doctors, atleast in the Midwest....the farther South you go the more underqualified the Docs get.

    I guaran-damn-tee you that his doctor did NOT say your hamstring wasn't a muscle. Either his doctor calls it by another name or he misunderstood his doctor.

    What is commonly referred to as the "hamstring" is actually three muscles: the semitendinosus, semimembranosus, and biceps femoris. If a doctor doesn't know this, his license should be revoked.

    I love the different slang. There is an English guy that sits near me at work and I always hear him using words like smashing and ole' chap.

    lol we dont all use that slang, occasionly your hear people saying fancy a ruby or were in barney but were not as posh or jolly old chap as you think lol

    LOL austin powers was a sixty's style film maybe it might have been like that then but things have changed, weve got chavs now and we are all ashamed about them and would love to ship them to different country if you want them
