i dont think supplements are his biggest priority at the moment

    http://ironmagazineforums.com/showth...t=21113..start with this for food

as for supplements these are fine - a multivitamin.. ex animal pak

    protein, any whey supp

creatine, regular monohydrate, or ester ethyl i like better

anything else is probobly useless and/or dangerous

this should get him far for now

I wouldn't even advise creatine at this point if he's just beginning. Let him get in there and get all of his 'beginner gains' out of the way. He'll be suprised how much strength and muscle he'll gain when just starting out. Lots of food and protein should be the way to go right now. Once he's a little more experiences he could start on creatine and maybe some glutamine to help in muscle recovery. Everyone's different though - he'll want to take the supplements that will help his needs the most. Of course, he can't decide what those needs are without any previous training. So tell him to start out le natural and eat anything that isn't tied down!

Abso-freaking-lutely!!!! Take any and every penny you can scrape together and spend it on real food and protein. THAT'S where your friend will make his muscle gains. (After you teach him what sets and reps are. )
Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???
