Punches with weights the day after?

I take this Kwando class sometimes where we use light weights when doing punches. Sometimes it falls the day after my chest/shoulders/triceps day. By the end of Kwando class my shoulders and arms are BURNING. I was wondering if it's OK to do punches with weights on the day right after chest/shoulders/triceps day?

Can anybody offer some advice on this ? I'm thinking of starting a high intensity cardio program where I use some light weights on arms/legs too. Should I avoid lifting the day before/after the weight/cardio ?
