    Lot's of (HIIT) Q's

    Hi everybody,

Obviously, the time spent doing cardio is greatly reduced when doing HIIT. So, my question is, if I've been doing 30-45 minute sessions of cardio at medium intensity 5 days a week, how long should the sessions be for HIIT & how much days a week of HIIT would equal the 5 days of just the medium intensity cardio? Also is really any ideal time of the day for doing HIIT?im cutting right now and would like to know if HIIT while fasting is a good idea or em i just asking for muscle loss? and if not what should i eat befor, right after & post after a session?thanks.

HIIT for 20 minutes, no more than 3 X/week at first, to see how ur body reacts is what Id tell u right off the bat, however, I dont know what/how ur diet is (if cals are VERY low, HIIT may not be a great idea), how much ur looking to loose etc...I dealt with way more LBM loss than fat loss when I did HIIT on an empty stomach...People are quite divided on this issue...Have a protein shake and a small piece of fruit or oats(even better blend em together) about 30-45 min pre cardio. just MHO
Life is what you make of it, not what it makes you...TAKE CHARGE!
