I mean like legs would be one muscle group....a complete chest workout would be the 2nd for the week.

I do every muscle at least twice a week. Sometimes Ill hit legs 3 times in a week, sometimes back or chest 3 times too. im not talking about sets or reps at all.

Never mroe then nine....so your saying you hit every muscle once a week and 3 muscles twice. Perhaps alternating those 3 every week?

No, sorry. Here is my current routine:
    Mon- chest/shoulder/tricep
    Tues- back/traps
    Wed- off
    Thur- legs
    Fri- bicep/calves/abs

Thats where I got the nine from. After this I hope to go to a high volume plan like Phase I of TP-PT.

Nice routine.....Im not counting traps, abs or calves as a muscle group though. Just legs, back, chest, shoulders, tris and bis. You think once a week for everything is enough. How many years you been lifting? ht and wt?

Why not count them? You count the tricep/bicep seperate. It should be a whole arm then, no?

I've been lifting about a year and a half, with a 4 month layoff due to serious illness. Im sick this week(cold) but weight last week was 202lbs and Im 5'8".

Thats a good weight(202 5'8"). I see your point with bis/tris as two. Its just ive been looking at it that way since i started. And I compare every year with the year before so its too late for me to change anything now. How much is your squat and bench.

About 8 months after I started is when I was strongest. Bench: 310 Squat: 405 Deadlift: 405x3. Then I got sick, and Im just trying to get back. I dont focus on 1rm very much now. I would rather be a BB than a PL.

I honestly think doing everything once a week after ive been at this 12 years would be a waste of my time. It wouldnt be bad for maintaning but im still in that zone to build more mass.

LOL, I can pick them up. I just need to practice with them more. This summer I may train some strongman lifts. Actually thinking about doing an olympic lifting meet in the fall with a friend if I can get my act together and polish my form up.

I don't like doing things once a week either. I feel un worked that way. I see better progress with more frequent routines. Sometimes I do three on one off.

how do you differentiate your days there p-funk?
It all depends. Usually one day is higher intensity with lower volume and then day two is less intensity, higher volume and greater density.

These past 11 days ive been doing everything 3 times a week. Ive seen gains in size and strength in that short of time. My appetites increased which is a good sign.

So your saying you can only "maintain" and are unable to build mass by working each bodypart once per week?

Yea, I wish there was a strongman gym here. I need to save my money up still, and buy a stone. I called a few places the other week, and they wanted WAY more than what AA does.. but I have to pay for shipping.. so its all fuct.
