    Beginner in need of help!!!

I've been in weight training at school for a year and a half, and never really done anything, just used it as a blow off class. Now, I want to get big. Not necessarily like buff or anything, but i just want to gain some weight, I'm scrawny. I have protein to use for shakes or whatever, and I have access to weights at school and at home.

Anyone want to give me some advice for gaining some size and weight?
Keep in mind, I don't want to be like muscleman3000 or anything, just want to get a little bigger.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Best advice i can give is spend plenty of time reading previous posts. Someone of your build, weight etc has probably already posted threads which answer all your questions. If you want tips on your diet post everything you eat in a normal day in the diet sections and you will receive feedback

YA, eat LOTS of good, healthy foods, lean meats, whole grains, fruit, veggies, dairies, healthy fats...Dont just rely on protein supplementation, get some real food in ya.

Set up a diet, prepare food in advance for school so u can eat about every 2-3 hours and see how it goes for a few weeks...then, if ure not gaining weight, this gives u a starting point to increase ur caloric intake gradualy, until u make gains.
But first things first, read the stickies in the nutrition forum and perhaps, post u diet there for insight.
Life is what you make of it, not what it makes you...TAKE CHARGE!

Diet is the most important thing to gain muscle. Don't worry about being huge, it won't happen with out years and years of training. You can stop gaining mass when you are the size you want.
