I guess the 10's you were using 4 months ago werent plates...![]()
Must have taped a dumbell on each end of the barbell...![]()
Not a big deal to anyone else, but I'd just like to say that today I did my first set of plates benching. It was only a set of 4, but still, I did it solo.
Not to mention, when I started lifting 4 months ago I was only doing the bar with 10's on each end.
Good for you Exordus!! Nice work, keep at it!
Life is what you make of it, not what it makes you...TAKE CHARGE!

Good job, man! I remember I started benching at a puny 65 pounds too! That's quite an increase in 4 months (I'm assuming you're at 135 now). Keep up the good work!

I started with only the bar.

I think he means 45s.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
to improve their lives.
Yes, of course. Sorry for the confusion all.Originally Posted by cfs3

Nice work dude, I remember the first time I ever benched 135, I was so proud of myself
...so now you can begin the race to repping 185, then after that 225, then after that 275, and so forth![]()
