    Unbalanced...!

Hey guys, I'm pretty confused and sad right now. My right arm is SOO much stronger than my left arm. My right forearm is ONE INCH bigger than my left!!!!! It looks SOOO uneven man. What should i do? I talked to Patrick (P-Funk) and he told me to stop doing barbells and only use dumbells. Should i stop barbells all together for a while or what can i do differently in my training to even it out. Stop doing the right arm for a while?

Nobody has perfect balance.. your right handed correct? Try doing certian things with your left hand for a change. You could also do DB exercises for your left forearm and not your right, to help bring it up.

I had the same on my pecs. One side was a little more developed than the other.I was told to do dumbell bench presses and do some more work on the lesser side than the other.I still lack total symmetry but its nearly unnoticable.Id agree with P-Funk that ya should just train your lesser side a bit more and also, as ya get bigger the difference will become less obvious.

Start using your non-dominant hand/arm to move weights, plates, even to do mundane tasks throughout the day. DB exercises before barbell or skip the latter altogether for now. Extra sets/exercises to isolate the weaker arm. One thing I like to do is start any one-arm exercise with the weaker arm and finish with that arm as well, so you get extra reps and sets on the weaker arm.

Man let him jack off with right hand its to hard with left hahahah

oh and to fix this you probally should do some barbell curls with left hand and reverse curls to try and get it balanced and after you have it balanced use an ez-curl bar

I had general imbalances all over. Switching to dumbbells is a good idea, but I would also do more shit with your left arm. Stuff such as carry shit around the house, carry your bag/briefcase in that hand, etc. Worked pretty well for me, I am pretty much ambidextrous now..

You could also keep track of the weights/reps you do with your left arm and match them with your right arm.

everyone always says use DBs and start with your wearker side. I found that when my strength in my biceps was unbalanced I would start with my right (the stronger side) and get as many reps as I could. Then, the left was typically 2-3 reps less than the right was (so if I got 10 curls on the right I would normally get only 7-8 on the left). I would do what I could with my left and then use my right arm to spot it as a way to get the last 2-3 reps. After a while of doing that my left caught up pretty evenly.

so patrick, i shouldn't do the weaker side first and then match with the stronger side? I should just spot the weaker side to match the stronger side? hmm...

When working one side or the other, start with your left arm..that's what I did when I first began lifting weights and there is no strength difference in my appendages.
