Hey,
I am getting ready to try a new type of weight lifting. A friend of mine tried it and got some pretty good results I was just wondering if anyone had heard about it. my friend trained his entire body for a week straight 5 days and rested about 3 or 4 after he was done. On thoes days off he consumed a lot of glutamine and protein. he still consumed a lot while he was lifting though. He has gained about 20lbs on his squat and about 15-20lbs on his bench. It kinda sounds like it would work instead of training 1 day and partley destroying his muscle hes training 5 and really destroying his muscles. I was thinking of trying it. any info on the subject?

I think he trained it full body 5 times...thats freaking insane!? Could provide him with SOME gains if he's a beginner, but he'll quickly exhaust....Just MHO of course!

not healthy at all
I did something similar when I was just beginning (and clueless). It actually worked very well... for about a week or two. After that, I had no energy left to do everyday things and I was completely drained. I couldn't even do the workouts anymore. Then a couple years later I really started to get into it the right way. So my advice is it's okay to try (if you're that curious), but you'll most likely discover that after a short time it won't yield any more results and will actually delay your progress.
