strech marks on arms and shoulders

Im new to this site, looks real good, ive work out since i was 15 im 20 now,im 180 lbs and bench round 265 max. Im writing this to see if anyone has the same problem i do or knows how or if there is a way to fix it. I have 2 massive strech marks on both my arms going from the top of my armpit down to the bicep, the are both about 2 or 3 inches long and sick looking. i really dont care that i have them but i dont want them to keep groing the more i work out. Also i have smaller random strech marks starting all over both biceps, what can i do about this and is there a reason it happens? Ive been taking ando for a little while now but i dont think that is a reason behind it. thanks

There's a cream that woman use to minimize stretch marks during pregnancy. It can help you as well.

Consider them "war wounds!" I have some stretch marks that must be almost 6" in length!

I hear ya kicka.Iv a big 3 inch one on the front of my left shoulder and a ton of little ones on my biceps and pecs.Theyll fade over the course of a few years to a shade thats nearly the same as your natural skin tone, but theyll always be there.Im 20 aswel and got lots of them when i started out last year, but i still get some every so often.Theyre a small price to pay! and id rather be the way i am now with all those stretchmarks than the way i was before i started weights.

its generally caused by a deficiency of vitamin E. get a vitamin E lotion. wont make the current ones go away, but could help prevent new ones. i use mine as good stories.

Fade to a more normal color? Not for the ones Ive got/seen. They dont call them the "red badge of courage" for nothing.

Shouldn't this be a dermatological problem? I have them too. Don't they have something akin to dermabrasion that would help with this or some form of cosmetic surgery?

If you have a tendancy to get them I would do like someone else said earlier and start taking extra vitamin E now to help prevent too many more if your worried about them. Surgery to remove scars...its been done before.

If you grow fast you are going to get them no matter what you do or take. Years ago I tried all the creams, the extra vitamin E, and every other remedy known to man, but the stretch marks just kept coming as I grew. Some have faded, but others continue their path along my body. They are like tatoos!

dont fret on stretch marks, at least you can point at them and say you were gaining so much muscle you got them. i cant even count the amount on my body..... i can look at my arms and count over 50 on each, running along the entire bicep area. chest has multiple long ones going from the chest to the shoulder areas, the inner thigh areas are bad. and my stomach looks like it has had surgery because of the stretch marks that are over 7" long going up and down it. you get used to them though, and everyone has them in one place or another. but not really to my extent you could say.

I got a big one on my shoulder about 2 years ago and its faded very much to the point that i dont really notice it, but when i first got it was really red and totally stuck out and it felt like it was indented into my skin(feels perfectly smooth now though).Sames happenin with the smaller ones iv gotten; started out really red but are fading. There still there and ARE atill distinquishable from the surrounding "undamaged" skin, but much less now than originally.TBH i dont give em any thought anymore.

What exactly do stretch marks look like? Are they just like, thin red streaks? If so I had 3 side by side on each of my delts a few weeks ago, and I just realized that's what it might be...

Could somebody post a picture of these stretch marks? And if you get it from growing fast, wouldn't body builders have them? Meaning, professional bodybuilders?

it differs, some of mine are small skin colored tears, others are 2-3 inches, indented and purple, the bigger they are the more purple/red and indented they are

Lol, why would you get a tatoo to cover them? They're temporary.... Even though they may reoccur.
