What do you all eat/drink after your HIIT or other cardio?
Does the same rule that applies to lifting that you shouldn't have fat (i.e cottage cheese) right after apply to cardio also?
I'm thinking about doing it at night, but is it better to do it in the morning on an empty stomach? If so, my breakfast has a fat source (eggs), so would that negatively affect fat loss?
I'm carb cycling btw, so would cardio be most effective on the night of a no-carb day? Or maybe the morning after a low-carb/no-carb day?

Who says no fat after lifting?
Hm maybe I just made that up in my head, im not really sure where I heard that![]()
Eating fat after lifting inhibits protein absorbtion by the body (muscles).Originally Posted by KentDog

For PWO 1 and 2, I play it safe and avoid fats.

well in terms of cutting itd be a good idea to not have a low fat diet but stay away from fats post workout.
Since the purpose of carb cycling is forcing the body into using other forms of energy on low-carb days.
what he said above me..feed the muscle the day after
