    Summer training plan ?

I'm looking for a training plan using minimal equipment to train for summer . I train at home and basically only have at my disposal a dumbbell and curl bar . Anyone have any suggestions for strength and slim training with these limited resources ?

Well, with what you have, you can still do alot of diffrent things:
Check out this website, it shows what you can do with DB for arms, shoulders, chest, back and legs.
I would try to find some kind of bench, all you really need is a bench a bar and some dumb bells for a whole body workout.

I'm a runner, it doesn't help when your trying to bulk up but I love it and won't give it up again. I run for 20 min after I've done my weight workout. (I'm on a treadmill till spring when the snow melts. )

I've read an article on sprints as a way to help bulk up as opposed to distance . Ever try this approach ?

I use HIT cardio training for running, you basicly keep upping your speed till your at a 9 on a scale of 10, then you drop back down to say a 5 and work your way back up again.
Over my 20 minute run, I do this about 4 times. Seems to work better than running at the same speed for the entire time.

I take it you still have a leg training day . I've just been using the curl bar as a makeshift squat bar . Legs have always been a weakness for me and i waqnt that to change .

Yeah, that can be a problem without a squat rack, if you've got enough weight, you can use DB for squats and lunges are great to.

If you can afford one, at least get a bench.

Where are you going to look? Weider make sosme decent ones that you can pick up at your local Sears.

If you want higher quality, I suggest Body Solid from www.fitnessfactory.com
