I have been using a push/pull/legs split for quite awhile now and it has been quite workable. I train EOD or at most 4 times per week. Deads are done on leg day. Gives me about 6 days b/w training bodyparts.

    I do:

    mon - chest/tri
    tues - legs
    wed - off
    thur - back/bi
    fri - off
    sat - delts, traps, obloquies

I also do prioritization on some of the nights I workout plus ab work every day I workout.

Well, I generally did 3 exercises per body part for 3 sets of 12-10-8 reps (not counting warm up sets).

I'm starting back up again this tuesday (a week after getting my wisdom teeth out).

    My split is
    Tuesday: Chest/Tris/Shoulders
    Thursday: Legs
    Saturday: Back/Bis/Lats

If you want to see my actual workouts, they're in my journal.

Then I throw abs in two or three times a week. Can't wait to hit the weights again this week, hope I don't over-do it though

This is what my workouts look like right now (all in one week):

    Day 1 - Back, [Shoulders], Abs, Pull-ups
    Day 2 - Biceps, Forearms, Chin-ups
    Day 3 - Legs
Day 4 - Chest, Triceps, [Shoulders]

I don't really have a specific day for shoulders, I just stick them in whichever day feels best, as some days I just can't do them. Any opinions on which day they'd fit best in?

Also, I am doing cardio on most off days and sometimes after lifting as well.
