IYO: What do you think is the most effective AB Excersice?

Just using your own body, what is the best AB excersise? I've been doing leg lifts, and they hurt like a bitch after like 30, guess that's good though.

I'd say the bicycle maneuver. It works the abs and obliques, plus I love the immediate feeling of being sore afterwards.

Can you explain what that is? I can take a guess, but I don't know if I'd be exactly right....

I just started doing it, and I must say, it's far superior to doing crunches IMHO.

I never understand these "the best exercise....(fill in the blank)" threads. There is no best. Do a variety of things and you will be fine.

The bicycle always kick my butt. The tight, sore feeling the next day rocks. But like P-funk says, do a variety.

What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)

I usually throw in some "twists" to my routine, they give quite a good burn.
