    Question Bodypart excercises

Is their much of a difference from doing one body part a day and resting 2 days a week versus doing 2 bodyparts a workout and resting 3-4 days? Because as long your not putting much stress on that one bodypart you should be okay right? Because I always waited at least 72 hours before lifting that bodypart again. Example-Chest then 72 hours then Triceps.

I've always read that you need to rest the muscle at least 48 hours prior to hitting it again. I'm not sure whether more rest is better, but I do always give myself two days before I work the same muscle groups again.

Just remember that overtraining an individual muscle is not the only concern. If you train too often, yu will overtrain your NERVOUS SYSTEM, which will shut off all muscle and strength gains. If you are natural, and of average genetics, I recommend no more than 4 days per week of weight training.
