Question Combat Injured PT Stud now FAT BOY

I was injured in Iraq on 28 Nov 2004. All my work and it was hard work since im 31 has gone to shit. I have severe nerve damage in my left leg from the shrapnel. Im growing man tits here. I was benching 325 when I was hit. I need to get back and the doc has said I can do upper body again. Since I cant walk the free weights to the bench. Any ideas on making machines work better for me. And any ideas about swimming. Diet suggestions welcome also. Im going back on the supps Mon when I start my old routine. IS 5 Months to late??????????????

I dont want to try to relate to something that severe but I was on crutches for 14 weeks and was able to do some lifting in my basement on the bench. Is there anyway that you can do that too? I was able to do things like shoulder press, incline, decline, and flat bench. Keep us updated.

Oh yea and I also recently had a shoulder surgery that kept me away from the weights for 4 months, not 5 but close enough, I didnt lose as much strength as I thought. The first few days were pretty rough on the shoulder but its getting better every time. As for the diet I would check out the Nutrition section of this forum. They will pretty much just tell you to eat clean. Things like chicken, grainy wheats (uhh yea), vegtables, fruits, just generally eat clean.

Thanks man,
I was working hard on getting into awesome shape a year ago. Took a long time finally got there and BOOM. Yeah I am gonna do all chest I can. Got some friends that will go once in awhile and they will help me with the free weights. But finding a dedicated partner is a bitch.
