    Is this a good workout?

Okay, this semester when i got my classes switched, i got weighttraining.. finally. After a few weeks of that class, i started to get addicted to weight lifting. So i bought a gym membership and started doing the same workout i did in school, again in the gym afterwards.

    Monday-Back
    Tuesday-Chest bicepts
    Wednesday-Shoulders
    Thursday-Tri and legs
    Friday-combination

And every day at the gym, i use the ab crunch machine, with heavy weight, another crunch machine, knee lifts, and the love handle machine.. Along with the ab workout every day, i run anywhere from 1-2 miles, with a low intensity jog at the start, to a high intensity run at the end.

I just want some remarks, comments, and oppinions on this routine. i'm 16, 5'11, and i weigh 255 pounds. I've been doing this for about a month now, and i've seen improvements in my endurance, and strength.

Move shoulders to Friday and take Wednes day off. Muscles grow while at rest. You are also way over working your abs, do them two times, no more than three times per week.

Are you doing this routine at school and then later at the gym again that same day? Depending on how hard you are training each time that might be over training. At 255 what is your BF?

my body fat is about 15%

And about the over training my abs, some people do 1000 crunches a day, wouldn't that be considering overworking your abs?

You really shouldn't workout out for more than two days in a row. You need to give you body a chance to rest and rebuild.

Remember the age old adage: muscles are not made in the gym.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.
