after a few years of training I have come to the conclusion that no routine should be long term (In the strictest of meanings anyway) and that the only way to know what is going to work best for you is to try it and see.
What do you think is a better long term routine:
1)Work compound muscle groups about 3 days a week(in 1 workout you do bench press, bicep curls, shoulder press, etc etc)
OR
2) Work a different muscle every day, for 5 days a week (ex: 1 day arms, then chest, shoulders, back, legs)
I'm currently on track two and have been working about 2 months. Just curious about everyone's opinions.
