I don't go all the way down it puts too much stress on the lower back. About parallel sounds right.
How far down should I go on the negative when doing decline situps? Right now I go until my body is a little less than parallel to the floor... going all the way down is killer on my lower back.

U dont have to go all the way down, just take time to feel a nice contraction (a 1-2 count does the trick) and dont go any lower.
