    Strength going up!

Despite my diet being relatively shit, my strength keeps on going up in the gym, today was my chest workout.

    Flat
    140kg*5
    140kg*5
    150kg*2
    150kg*1

    Decline
    120kg*6
    140kg*6
    150kg*6

I have only been to the gym 3 times over the past two weeks could this be the reason why I knocked my Kneecap yesterday and its really sore should I not perform SLDL/Squats tomorrow

Even with a poor diet, consistent lifting will help increase your strength. You may end up with the physique of your average power-lifter, but you will get stronger.

    BTW Congratulations

That's sort of how it's going for me. My diet wasn't very good, but I was making satisfactory gains. However, I've changed that now and I've started drinking more water and eating some healthier foods. I hope even the little changes will count in the long run (the short run would help too).

Thanks Royal One, SB I suppose a relative improvement in diet for most people is realistic, while a perfect clean diet is not

One thing I've learned regarding diet, every little bit counts. For myself, cutting out sugar was the first step, now everything else is falling in-line. I am finally able to reap the rewards of my hard work. Glad I could be of help.
