    Cutting for summer, question.

Im cutting up for the summer, currently my routine is this.

    M-upper body
    T- run 3 miles
    W- lower body
    TH- 3 miles
    F- upper body
    S- 3 miles
    S- rest or 3 miles.

The next week i would hit the lower body on m,f- upper on w. Im doing the body for life set and rep scheme, only while im cutting, cause its a pretty intense workout adn good for fat buring. 4 sets for each group followed by a superset to failure. 6 sets in all.

My question is on sunday more often than not, i feel like running. I ran twice yesterday, always 3 miles. I always feel like taking a jog. Should I chill out on this? I dont want to lose any muscle.

Diet wise Im taking in prally 2200 calories a day. 40/40/20
    Im 5'11-183

Are those cals your maintenance level or did you lower them for the cut? If so I would bump them up to at least 2500 with all that running. Or an even better solution is to do carb cycling, it works wonders and you'll drop fat like it's nothing.

All forums have followers of a certain routine that some mods preach, like one forum I know, the guys there swear by doing 5*5 systems and always do wide chins and bent over rows on different days ???

Groupie is a great name for it.
