    How long should i expect?

My problem with getting into training was i never noticed a difference, it was always so gradual that i always looked the same to myself.

i think this is why i always had the misconceived notion that it took FOREVER to start showing improvement.

Im not looking for an overnight change, i just wanna be looking good by the time wet suits come off in 2 months at the beach.
    With a body like this....
How long till i have my 6 pack back, my pecs larger and my arms and back more toned. My goal is shded 25-30 lbs of fat and gian it back in muscle. THis owuld be on a no more than 10g of carb per day diet, no suppliment.

6-12 hours of surfing a week, in 2-4 hour sessions.
And gym 3 times a week.
day 1, Biceps , chest abs
    day2 Triceps , back, abs
    Day 3, Shoulders back abs.

My cardio will come from Running 10 mins on the beach before a 3 hour surf session, leading to more cardio.

To loose 25-30 lbs of fat and then gain it in muscle will take at least 6 months, estimating a 2-3 lbs/week loss and gain.

Every exercise needs to be till failure, I dont know how you could train and surf. Im sore for days after my workout. You cant really put on muscle and loose fat at the same time. I have a large percentage of body fat so im on a cutting diet, and I am making slow improvments in muscle. Ive dropped 20 lbs of fat in 6 weeks and put on 2-3 lbs muscle, when i get down to a reasonable bf% then i'll go for size.

You want muscles eat more. Your muscles will grow, and your bf% will go down. If you want abs, you need to cut, expect to loose some muscle. And good god 10g of carbs? You must be exhausted. I eat at least 200g of carbs, 170g protein and fill the rest with fats, and try to get about 2000 cal a day.

Oh and why no suppliments? Get some vitamins, and whey.

If you want to look good for the beach in 2 months, cut and build your muscles in the winter.

25-30 pounds of muscle is a HUGE difference, 25-30 pounds of fat is a very large amount. In fact at 250 pounds thats almost the entire amount of fat that I have, and I'm not lean.

I could drop half a pound of day for awhile, water, muscle and fat - but 2 months for your POSTED goal is about as close to impossible as anything I've heard lately. So I hope you have a set of short term goals.

Nice looking beach. How long's the board?
What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)

You will definetly see results if you used the weight room properly for 2 months. I would see major results in 2 months and you probably would be able to do the same.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

My goal isn't to be ripped and jacked in 2 months, its to shed the fat and show some sign of definition. I know there is no mirracle cure.

    I just wanna show results.
A lot of people have been telling me the 36 lbs in 27 days was way bad.
That was a diet that involved no starvation or anything like that. I just ate conciously, and cut out anything extra. No snacks between meals. my body has never had a weight prolbem, so its not like i was losing what im supposed ot have. Its like a car. A porche is always gonna be fast, but if you stop changing oil and taking it for a drive once in a while its gonna lose some power.

Well my body is like that, i have a great build and great metabolism, i just stopped maintaining, so my diet was just an oil change. It was just no fast food, and no soda diet. Lots of Eqq whites, turkey and i alwyas had a Lunch sandwhich, CHicken teriaki with low fat dressing , lettuse and tomatao on toased roll. And lots of sushi.

As far as working out and surfing.....
When im in the water all thoughts of pain and struggling go away, cause the reward is so worth it , that nothing can stop me form catching that next wave.

The board is a 6'6'' Matt Kechle Fish. Fast and turns hard. But sinc ei packed on a few lbs again, its getting harder to ride =P
