uhm, tell her to use machines. Most machines are isolation exercises, now im not talking about using smith etc. Im talking about those machines specially made for isolation exercises. Pec deck etc.
Cardio + Machines, shell benifit from the metabolic raising effect weight training has. If her back is that bad, tell her to stay away from free weights in general, i really cant think of any upper body exercise that doesnt require back support.
