3x split.. what do you think of this routine?
I need a new 3x split for the next 8 weeks. I came accross this one and wanted opinions. It consists of 2 sets each (i'll do 1 warm up set at the very beginning). I prob would be doing a target of 10reps, max12. then increase weights.
Presently i need a 3x split to work with the 3-4x HIIT as i am doing a body recomp. Diet is in order ![]() Routine 1 * Chest o Inclined Dumbbell Presses o Pec-Deck Machine * Triceps o Weighted Dips o seated Skullcrushers (machine) * Shoulders o Front Military Presses o Dumbbell Lateral Raises o Bent Over Dumbbell Laterals Routine 2 * Back o Front Latpulls o Deadlifts (regular/standard) o Dumbbell Rows o Dumbbell Shrugs * Biceps o Dumbbell Preacher Curls o Dumbbell Hammer Curls * Forearms o Barbell Forearm Curls Routine 3 * Legs o Squats o Leg Extensions o Seated Leg Curls o Lying Leg Curls o Standing Calf Press o Donkey Calf Raises <--- *not sure about this one* * Abs o Cable Crunches ---------------------------------------------------------------------- My present 3x split is : Chest DB BP's (4sets) Flies (machine) (4sets) Tris Pulldown (3sets) Tris extension (kinda seated skull crushers) (3sets) Lat raises (3sets) Military presses (3sets) Back CG Pulldowns (4sets) Rows (4sets) SLDL's (4sets) Hammers (3sets) Curls (3sets) Legs- Legpress (4sets) Squats (4sets) Standing calf raises (3sets) Seated calf raises (3sets) Weighted ab crunches (machine) (4sets) Last edited by BulkMeUp : 04-21-2005 at 03:25 PM. |
