ya if you're short, they tend to look stocky and is easier to build bigger muscles than taller people
correct me if i'm wrong..
Does making me shorter look more muscular than people who are taller? Some dude at my school told me I wasn't that swull, I'm just compact. This got me pretty mad cause I workout 4 days a week and eat healthy. So what's your thoughts on this?

being shorter helps a lot in terms of looking thicker since there is less of you to fill out and adding something as little as 5lbs can really show up. Most BB'er are really short for this reason. They have less surface area to cover than the taller guys.
the guy at school was just jelous....and you can tell him i said so.![]()

Do you train all the different body parts properly 4 times a week, or doing the same thing each time? I'm asking just because I want to check if you're overtraining, that's the first mistake I did when I started. Also, you may be strong and still small, to get bigger, you have not only eat healthy, but eat a lot.
Nah, I'm not overtraing I work each body part properly and I eat all the time. And, I just didn't start working out if that's what your inferring.Originally Posted by Seanp156

Being short can make it easier for a person to look filled out, however when you see a taller person who is 320 pounds versus a shorter guy who is 220, there is a big difference in the impression of the two.
There is nothing to get made about though.
