when i did that split my only warm ups were for chest. the chest work should get your tri's and shoulders warmed up enough to go straight to the worksets.
I am doing a 3x split. So, for example on
Chest
Tris
Shoulders
Is it better to do a warmup set (or sets, as some have mentioned that they do more than one warm up set) before EACH body part? or if i do my warmup set before chest, is that enough considering tris and shoulders do get worked/warmed up with the chest exercises?

Thats what i thought. Since my present 3x split works auxilary muscles, i skipped warmups on those muscles. Just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing out on any kind of benifit by not doing them.Originally Posted by gwcaton
