Post Workout while sick?

Hey guys, I just woke up today, and I was going to work out, but I don't feel 100% right now, and yesterday I had acceleration and soccer conditioning, so my muscles are a little tense still. But what do you guys suggest? I have a sore throat, so I am not really that sick, but should you work out when you are getting sick? or take a day off and just get better?

Working out while you are sick will not make you any worse, but you will feel like hell while doing it. If you can afford to skip the workout, just rest up until you feel better.

it may not make you worse be it will inhibit your recovery. your body needs your energy to get better not to build bigger muscles.

I agree with seyone. If you continue to workout while your sick you'll do nothing more but make your self sick longer because you immune system is weaker.

I agree, take a couple off, you'll get better quicker and back in the gym quicker.

The general rule of thumb is if your sickness is neck down, don't work-out. Personally, I take a day or two off any time I don't feel 100%.
