Deadlifting question
If I want to increase my deadlift more than any other lift (want to compete in deadlifting contests one day), should I change my training? My current deadlift day workout is
Conventional Deadlifts: 5 sets 6-10 reps (I do rack deadlifts if I'm at my dads house because my gym's squat rack pins don't move. I go there about once a month) ATF squats: 2 sets 8 reps Leg press: 2 sets 8 reps Leg curls: one drop set Standing calve raises super setted with seated calve raises: 3 sets 20 reps on each. BB shurgs: 3 sets 8 reps Static holds for grip: 4 sets hold for as long as I can. This is my second leg day of the week. On the frist leg day I do more quad work than this. |
