First day back.....ouch!

    First day back.....ouch!

    I stopped lifting for a wile.....like 4 months.

    Anyway yesterday was my first day back in the gym.....oh man!

    I hurt! I hurt bad! I can't believe how hard of a time I'm having getting back in there.

    Let this be a lesson to me!

    I never do a full routine going back to the gym after a layoff, I do about 1/5th of a routine and add to it weekly. Or I would consider circuit training.

    I agree with Mudge. I took most of the summer off last year and didnt really get back into lifting till November. I started light and slowly worked my way back into it because as much as I love lifting its still a hobby and I have to be able to get up and go to work the next day. For me getting back into my LEG routine was the worst. Took 3-4 days before I could walk correctly and bend over without groaning...I felt very old. Wont take THAT much time off next time.
