Keep the weight really light and don't do too much work for the active recovery period. I would probably use less than 30% of my max and not very many sets.
I was reading on elite lifts with dave tate talking about how the western bodybuilders are lost on exercising, and that you can bench 400 one day and then the day after that do high reps on the bench and it will help you recover without over training because your getting blood to that muscle. It made sense to me so Im going to give it a try with my biceps since i dont care about them that much and see how it goes.

You need your arms for more than bicep curls.
so you think that the biceps arnt a good choice since that they have other things effecting the results? I thought about this one too
