Hey big man can you do lunges???

So I'm at the gym and I'm getting this 'hey Steve do you do lunges?' from a female friend of mine.

I don't know why but I thought that lunges were for a womans tight butts not mine????

So I grab a couple of dumbells and start on 3 sets of lunges. I can't make it to 10 no way and I'm getting the feeling someone is woooooooosin out here!

Today I can hardly walk! Shit I hate lunges!!!!

Now I have another excercise in my leg day....just great!

I absolutely believe in lunges, slowly executed with a nice hold in the down position. And you can do so many different types, lunge off the box, forward, backward, stationary, walking. My favorite is a one legged lunge with my one leg placed on the bench for support, the back leg, and then I lunge with the front leg. I have seen great glute development as a female with this exercise.
