    negatives for strength

    any of you guys do negatives to gain strength. I was talking to this old
    dude at the gym he was telling me that he does a them once a week
    fullbody routine to gain strength and it works great.

    never really read too much on this

    I usually do negatives at the end of each set when I am working with dumbells. Mostly on the "presses" bench, military etc... I have also heard from a few different people that make it a full workout I have never actually tried making it a full workout myself.

    heavy eccentric training for maximum hypertrophy not strength training
    I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
