Well, I do not do it anymore now that I am older and wiser, but the signs I would look for are lack of pumps, fatigue, frequent injuries, illness, and plain lack of desire to go to the gym.

There are alot of symptoms to look for, but personally, when I have a difficult time getting to sleep at night and/or I get irritated by minor things very easily, I know I'm overtrained.

man, I would have to be at the gym like ten hours a day before I would lack desire to go... going to the gym is the only thing that keeps me from going crazy

Same for me, I can always tell cause I just don't sleep well. Its not because my muscles are sore, I think its more like my whole nervous system is sick.

I was that way when I was young, but as age creeps up on you that desire starts to weaken.

My legs feel like they have weights attached to them. Very heavy feeling. Sleeping at night comes in short bouts instead of a good 8 hours straight.
    Another Set Now!!
