no matter what IMO it should be shoulder width stance, toes slightly outward.
How should I position my feet to emphasize the quads more and the hams less on squats and leg press. I'd appreciate so experienced advice.
My hams have really blown up from deadlifts and have bad stretch marks. I think my quads need to catch up.

shoulder width stance, and sumo stance train different muscles. if you want quads trained more, go with rob's advice.... a wider stance trains more towards the hamstrings than the quads.Originally Posted by Robert DiMaggio
and leg press should be working your quads more than the hams anyway, unless your doing them some weird way.
same kind of stance for squats, get those legs shoulder width apart for more quad work. sumo stances usually allow you to do mor ebecause your going less distance
(correct me if im wrong too lol, this is what i thought was true).
start front squatting and when you squat do the typical BB'er aka high bar squat. also are you doing anything else for your legs other than leg press/squat? people tend to forget about other exercises like lunges and such, but they are a killer and unilateral stuff coupled with short RI's really gets you conditioned aerobically, whoever doesn't agree should try 3-4 sets of split squats with No RI and hitting like 8 reps with each leg.
when doing leg press the higher up you place your feet on the pad, the more hammies you'll be using.

Try hack squats this will target the quads.
