    Crunches questions

1: I do crunches on my bed, does it matter if I do crunches on my bed becasue it's not as hard as the ground?
2: I try to do 100 at once, I usually stop for a few seconds around 50-60, then continue to 100, is that ok?
3: Is it ok to do 100 at once?
4: If I feel any pain in my ab area, does it mean the crunches are definately working?

Also, I am 16, I way 65 kilograms (don't know pounds, we use kilos in Australia) and so far this year I have lost 15 kiols (I think that's quite alot of pounds).
How long would it take for my abs to come through? I can feel them under the fat, well I think I can feel them

By that do you mean I need to do other ab exercises? I do one where you lie back, hands besides your hips and raise your knees to your rib cage. I do 30 at a time.

I do these 2 exercises a few short mins after eachother, 3 times a day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

it's not how many you do, but what you put into them/get out of them that counts.

Squeeze your abs up to crunch, don't' just lift your upper body.
At the top of the movement, blow all the air out of your stomach and flex your abs as hard as possible.
    Slowly lower yourself down.
You're a funny guy, Sully, I like you. Dat's why I'm going to kill you lahst.

Imo, doing weighted crunches would be much more beneficial than doing sets of 100 unweighted ones. But you still need to get to a single digit bodyfat percentage to see your abs.

Get a ball rather than your bed. Better range of motion.

1 kilogram=2.2 lbs, so you lost 33 lbs. Good job

What do you mean by "weighted" and "unweighted" crunches?

Thanks! Man I'm pretty happy with that, but I need to lose more to get the abs showing.
