Hi all,
I was told to post this here for feedback...
I currently train at home with freeweights (the dreaded YORK variety and pec deck!), but will eventually join a gym.
I can already see the shortcoming of these weights mainly that they have large width at a low weight so not many can be placed on a bar, but they are ok for learning good form and technique at least thats my excuse
As a beginner i have decided on the following routine
Monday
Squats
Bench Press
Barbell row
Dumbell curls
Abs
Do you think this seems reasonable?
I ultimately aim to gain mass but in the short term i need to lose some fat!!!
On the "off" days I use a treadmill for 30mins or so doing fast walking then running. I am 5'8" and currently weigh 212 pounds. I have always been physically strong and i am quite broad shouldered...
Best wishes to you all and I hope to chat soon,
Boomster
