You better have good knees if your doing them this way. I dont do them.
I was reading a little on sissy squats, I was thinking of throwing in a couple sets before my real squats. Do they help any? And what is the propor way to do them ?

i really like sissy squats. i typically will use the rope attachement and wrap it around a pole or an upright and then lean back and perform them as in the video.
you definitely don't want to perform them before your regular squats. they're much better as a finishing move at the end of your leg workout in my opinion.

the sissy squat is a GREAT stretch-muscle movement for the quadsOriginally Posted by dfauteux

hey LAM - do you do them before squatting or after? i've only used them at the end of my leg routine...(which doesn't mean that's the best way - it's just what i've preferred)

Definitely don't want to try it after abs since you need your stomach tight when doing it to keep your back straight, it's a good little ab worker in itself.Originally Posted by BulkMeUp
