Post Bigger size

Is it possible for someone to obtain bigger bodyparts (arms, chest, legs, etc) without gaining any weight? If so, how? Cause I know a guy that didn't lose or gain any weight, but yet his arms and chest still got bigger a few inches despite that.

I know you can, my legs and arms have gotten bigger but my weight hasn't changed and my B/fat level is still around the same. Don't know exactly why but I bet someone does.

Question

hmmm...not sure how that could be possible. I could see if you changed the composition of your weight, e.g. fat to muscle, thus your weight remained the same, but you are now leaner and muscle size is increased.

Thanks Prince, I was wracking my brain for a way to say that. But even your example had a flaw. If you changed the composition your OVERALL size would be smaller because muscle is more dense and therefore takes up less room. For instance, your biceps and triceps would be bigger, but your arm would be smaller. (Poor example since most people don't store much fat in the upper arm, but you get the idea.) The bottom line is, I don't think you can add size without adding weight or changing BF%. (Scotty, you're just wierd.)

Well, you could lose water and gain muscle, gain intra muscular water and lose subcutaneus water, gain muscle and lose fat, store extra glucose in muscles and lose subcutaneuos water, etc etc
