    Shoes

I'm getting new shoes, but I'm not sure if I should get running shoes or crosstrainers (I can only afford 1 pair). I usually do aerobics and elliptical but would like to start adding some running days too. Which shoes should I get?

    Thanks

my personal opinion is a pair of nike shox... they are great for all of the above that you mentioned. they're light and durable, a great investment (they run about $100). just a thought!

I would recommend running shoes if you are doing any running at all.

You can doing aerobics, cross training or running in running shoes but it's not a good idea to do running in anything other than running shoes since most shoes not made specifically for running won't provide you with the cushioning you need to prevent injury to your knees, ankles and feet.

Totally agree...if your doing any kind of running you need a running shoe. For elipticals and aerobics it shouldnt matter as much. I love NB too, but they dont seem to last for big guys like me. I am going to try Shox next.

I think you should get Nike Impax Run II, Similar technology to the Nike Shox however cheaper and they last longer, unfortunately they have less colors..(I work at Finishline)

If you like shox better get Nike Shox Turb OZ, i think its the best running shoe out..

I wear Nike Shox NZs and they're great. If you're looking for a running shoe that provides more breathing, look at the Asics Kayano. I work at Foot Locker and I wear Kayanos with Spenco insoles at work and they do wonders.
