i dont feel a need to target my neck, the same as the obliques... if your standing and straining while you train, certain areas are definately getting enough with every set you do

i use mah arms. when you have your hand on your forehead. then you push you head down giving resistance with your hands. then push up with your hands and resisting with your neck. then you you hands on the back of your head do the same thing. resist with neck push with hands then push with neck resist with hands. and then side to side.
I don't do any direct neck training and my neck has thickened up quite a bit from before I started training. I guess mine seems to grow with indirect work from other lifts just fine. I do, however, remember Mudge saying in another thread about the same topic that some people need direct neck training to thicken it.
at my school i train neck with a head strap thingy.a chain is connected to it and weights are attached. i just sit with my elbows on my knees and pull the weight up. it really helps for wrestling and football

ive got a neck harness too, works wounders. love the damn thing. do you guys do the movement to the sides as well? i just do front and back.
