    Muscles

If you overtrain your muscles the next day they hurt real bad right?? I think I overtrained them because my karate teacher made us do lots of pushups and situps.

Well, I don't know about you, I'm sure most people would disagree, but I only feel satisfied once I can feel pain the next day. If I don't feel pain or tightness, I feel dissapointed, that maybe I didn't train to my potential.

Then again, maybe you are just in-experienced? Maybe your body isn't used to that intensity yet.

If you did that again today, then that would be overtraining

Just because your muscles are sore does not mean they are overtrained. DOMS is not an indicator of overtraining or hypertrophy.

overtraining occurs over a period of time. it could take weeks or months to reach that point.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

Yeah, my muscles don't really get sore anymore unless it's been a while since I've done a particular exercise or part. It's kind of cool not having to walk at .5 mph after squat day anymore.
