I think this picture has been posted before. Many thought it was photoshopped, but who knows.

I look at that picture and imagine all of the possible scenarios of what could go wrong...it's not pretty.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

my old PT manager did 155lbs on the ball. I used to stand on it but never BB squated on it. I don't do it any more. Paul Check is big on it. IMO it is a dangerous gimick, there are better and safer ways to challege your balance. FYI, Juan Carlos-Santana tore his ACL while standing on it doing a training seminar. He wont stand on it anymore.

Yeah, in case it isn't clear to anyone yet, please do not ever attempt to do this. It is dangerous and can result in serious injury or death.

The problem is what does that skill transfer to?

    Very impressive, but pointless.

Well last time I used it was when my partner got shot. I had to put him over my sholders, and then I realized that the only way out of the burning building was to balance on a big rock and roll out the door. It was a good thing i had trained this way, or we may not be alive today.......
