Post-Workout insulin spike, and cardio
I was told that instead of going straight from my weight training to cardio it is good to get something in my stomach to replenish lost stores, like some creatine or protien. Problem is I like to put cranberry juice in my PWO creatine for an insulin spike. Would it be bad to have this insulin spike from the sugar in the juice, THEN cardio afterwords? If so should I just wait until after my cardio for my insulin spike?

you should have creatine with a full glass of water 30 mins before your workout. After your workout, mix the creatine with your protein shake with water or if you are on a bulk, you can have creatine with juice and then a protein drink (if u want) and chug it down.
As for cardio, i usually do cardio right after my workout and then take the creatine/protein shake but if i should take it before cardio, someone let me know. |

Because Im already at the gym...
So instead of doing 5g of creatine pwo... I should do 2.5 before, and 2.5 after the weight training, and right before cardio? To reiterate my main question, "Will an insulin spike right before my cardio hurt me, or help me?"
