What's up with my F$#king concentration!?

I think the main problem I have been having with my training is...

I am having trouble concentrating on performing my reps/motions...

It seems 5-7 years ago when I started training, I had the ability to rev myself up for each set. To get that 1-3 extra reps. I used to train in the 6-8 rep range for everything, and maintain that intensity through the entire WO.

Now it seems like I am training more in the 8-15 rep range, burning the muscles more than outright shocking them..

Am I just getting too old? Why does it take a high power caffine supplement to get a super WO?

    Is this just plain retarded?????

Have you been getting plenty of rest lately? try switching up your routine and maybe taking a 2 week break alltogether.

I suggest taking a week off from training. You'll feel refreshed and motivated to get back.

so, why don't you go back to 6-8? ... maybe try 4-6 for awhile? you don't really want to "burn" or "shock" the muscle... keep it low rep, heavy weight. it makes it easier to keep up the intensity.

I concur. Cut back on the number of reps or take some time off.

take 2 weeks off. And dont go near a gym. Keep the protein the same but cut the carbs by about 35-40%.

I do this after six months of working out and it works wonders for my pysche and the bod.

Also, watch (any) Rocky movie, Dreamquest and Pumping Iron. If these dont do it for you, take a rifle and blwo your brains out.

you need to do some research on periodization training cycles
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
