Running with coat on..

Today it was like 86 degree's at least so I ran with a coat on because I sweat more. Is this unhealthy or ok to an extent??

Uh, what is the point of this? To dehydrate yourself faster. You think logically that you loose weight faster, but I believe you are wearing yourself out faster, as opposed to going farther/longer.

that is not safe at all. It is very dangerous and you could pass out and possibly get a heat stroke depending how intense you're running. Running with a coat may make u sweat more but it will not help you better overall.

sweating isn't a direct indicator of an elevated metabolic rate. basically all you are doing is losing a little water weight. which is almost immediatley put back on when you start drinking liquids again after the training session...

If you're trying to make weight for something like wrestling or boxing then go for it. Either way it's very dangerous and can result in you passing out or having heat stroke quite easily. And all you're losing is water. Don't bother if you're trying to get in shape.



Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.
