Reps: stay the same or use pyramid?

I'm bulking; what is most beneficial when lifting?

To use a pyramid system (i.e. start at 12 reps, 10 reps next set, 8 reps next set, etc) or use the same reps per set?

Pyramid would be low reps to high reps then back to low reps.

Just stay between 6-10 reps 3-4 sets per exercise and 2-3 exercises per muscle group.

I typically vary my reps from workout to workout and from compound to isolation exercises. I typically go lower reps on compounds (5-10) and 10+ reps on isolation exercises.

I pyramid (ramp) up
Warm up - 12 - 8 - 4 -2, then one light set 10 - 12 reps, kind of a lop sided pyramid.
