Wont be able to gain serious muscle till I'm grown?

I read some shit that said most teenagers know matter what, will not be able to pack on serious amounts of muscle. They also said at the age of 21 and up, people will have an easier time ( even tho the body might not be producing as much testosterone ) because of a slower metabolism. Does any of this make sense? This really makes me wonder should I bust my ass at the gym like theres no tomorrow. I'm going to try an get the proper nutrition (A.K.A. protein) and see if I can get those freaky results again.

nope it wrong, the older u get the harder it will be to gain muscle, not just because of test but because ur liver wont be producing much grow hormones... so use this time and all the raging hormones to pack on some serious muscle

It's all true, just give up. Go buy 4 or 5 bags of potato chips and some orange soda; sit in front of the TV for 9 or 10 hours........keep a gallon of ice cream handy too.
    Good luck

    I'm w/7-11...

The biggest gains you can make is Pre 25

The optimum time to start lifting in my opinion is as soon as you hit puberty...

When those hormones start raging, feed it, and turn it into natural steroids

I've actually read that if you start weight lifting at a younger age, you can develop certain muscle fibers that cannot be developed when you are older. Anyone else hear of this before?

I went from 127 to 158 and stayed around 8% bodyfat. So that would be 10.2 pounds of fat to start and 12.6 now, so only 2.4 pounds of fat, and probably 5 pounds of water or so. So I gained around 23.6 pounds of muscle.

i've read that the younger you start training the greater your muscle density will be. in theroy it sounds plausible due to the ways that test, GH and IGF-1 work.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

When I was in high school we had a fair number of 305+ benchers, and 275+ guys as well and I went to the NERD high school.

Now in my gym no matter what age, I rarely ever see anyone touch 275 for even a single. Most teens dont have the dicipline or knowlege required, I'd blame that long before anything else.

I gained 30lbs of muscle in less than a year. I started lifting May 04. I went from 208lbs to 242lbs by January 05. In that time my BF went from 15.6% to 13%. I credit this mainly to the fact I lost a ridiculous amount of weight prior to May 04. In losing so much weight I also lost a large amount of muscle. When I started in 04 the muscle just seemed to pile on. I guess muscle memory played a role but it is possible! It's been much more difficult since.
