Were do u buy your weights

So I know several of you have suggested buying from the fitnessfactory.com for equipment but what about weight plates I been looking online and really can't find any places that sell olympic weight plates and bars.

I know where to buy plates at 45cents a pound and was wanting to know if anyone has bought weight at less than 45 cents online

45 cents is a good price but then you add in shipping it sucks. I bought some iron for 49 cents locally and thought I got a great deal.

Fitnessfactory.com does sell iron but I've never priced out their shipping cost's.

Well, I live in the desert, so I either drive until I find what I want, or use FFO. I ordered a 300lb Oly set (meaning plates and bar) after I moved out here recently and it cost $189 total (shipping was $90).

Not the greatest deal around, but better than the local dealers I checked at. If you can find it locally cheaper, by all means do that.
If you can't - FFO ain't a bad place to shop and they carry alot of stuff. Too bad they don't have free shipping on everything

BTW, I thought delievery was quick - about a week to NM. Overall, I'm happy with FFO.

Fitnessfactory.com charges $59 shipping on their 300lb. olympic sets which takes it to $158 total per set.

Local will be the cheapest for plates due to shipping charges, and $.45 a pound is a good price.

The barbell was included in the weight, but if you but it not with a set it could be different

so your point is that everybody new on here is just posting to see the pics? I saw one of your other members say that to another newbie and really thought it was rude. If I want to see pics there are lots of places on the web to go beside this place. so fine I wont post anything else and stay at my little 15 post now....hope you and all the rest enjoy your site

Most online stores only charge shipping on weights.
