One dumbbell? Um, you could try a whole lot of things but they probably won't work. The weight is probably too light or too heavy to do most things. If it's just right, it'll become too light soon anyways.

Hmmmm....how about pullovers, hold the db while doing one legged calf raises, put the db on your feet while you do situps/crunches, tie the weight to your waste and do pullups, put the weight on your chest while doing crunches, put the weight on your forehead and do neck-raises, drop the db on your toe and do the indian rain dance (cardio)...Im out of ideas. Get a job. Get some money. Get some more weights.

As for resourceful I remember the weight bench/set that I had as a kid. I had my dad bring home a 7ft piece of pipe from work so I could have a bar for barbell excercises. Then I rem filling up plastic grocery sacks with canned goods for extra weight since I maxed out rather quickly with only 135lbs of weights. Once I got a real bar I used the old "barbell" for pullups in the garage. I made my own ab-roller, the wheel with a bar thru it for doing abs.

    lmao

Yeah there isn't much you can do with one dumbell... Squaggle said it best that it will either be too heavy to too light, depending on the exercise.
